Curriculum Vitae

Jeffrey L. Hirsch has an extensive family law practice, including divorce litigation, mediation, collaborative law, and child advocacy for more than 15 years. Since law school when he was awarded a judicial internship in the domestic relations division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Jeffrey L. Hirsch has devoted his practice to divorce and family law cases. Attorney Hirsch is a well-respected lawyer in McHenry County, having previously served as President of the McHenry County Bar Association (2005-2006). Attorney Hirsch currently serves on the Family Mediation Advisory Council for the Circuit Court of McHenry County, Illinois. In addition to mediation, Attorney Hirsch has been frequently appointed by the Court as a Guardian ad Litem or Child Representative to advocate for the best interests of the children in contested custody and visitation cases. Attorney Hirsch is a Fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
